I was inspired by a character art book I recently recieved, and created an image of the girl. Once I got it into photoshop however, the whole scene came together for me a little better, and the little shaman appeared, to lead her into the bamboo forest. I've been trying to work on my lighting a little more these days, to help with focus. Hopefully the lighting has worked out for this piece, any critiques are welcome. Thanks!
It started out as a character piece of the huntress, and turned into an entire image. I wanted to create a tiny world for the fairies and child to inhabit, while still blending into the cold outer world that the huntress lives in. Is she hunting for the child? The fairies? Some magic mushrooms? Who's to say.
